Amanda Watson – Ottawa
Amanda is the owner of Country Moments Spa & Wellness Centre. She went to school for esthetics in 2008 in Ottawa and bought the spa in 2012 after working there for 10 months, which was originally located in Orleans. In the summer of 2014 she decided to move the spa to a new location and found her dream spot in a beautiful farm house in Navan. The spa opened in Navan October 2014 and they have been able to expand services because of it. We now offer full esthetics, manicures, pedicures, waxing, facials, body treatments, massage, etc. We also have an acupuncturist, tarot card reader and hypnotist. We are currently on the search for a Registered Massage Therapist, Reflexologist and Reiki Master. We are also opening a gift shop that will be attached to the spa and will hopefully be starting yoga outside for the summer and fall months!! We also rent out our space for special events as well as we welcome groups of people to come after hours to get services (birthday parties, bachelorette etc) We also are now going to be offering brides to be able to get ready at the spa on their big day! Lots of really neat, rustic photo ops!

Serena Weinholdt – Ottawa
Serena is the owner of Sensational Soaps. Sunsational Soaps and Lotions was born out of a need to nourish a sensitive and dry skin type during the harsh Canadian winter months. Using only natural oils, butters and essential oils, Serena strives to develop soaps, lotions, lip balms and other items to heal and nourish skin naturally without unnecessary chemicals or scents.
What started as a personal need quickly grew into a hobby and now into a strong desire to continue providing quality products. All recipes are developed and made in small batches in Orleans, ON. Each and every product is tested by Serena’s family prior to being advertised for sale.
Mélanie White – Rive Sud
Mélanie White, Conseillère en image personnelle pour Elora.Mon travail consiste à conseiller les femmes pour faire ressortir leur caractère, leurs valeurs et leur personnalité à travers le port des vêtements Elora. Coiffeuse et technicienne en pose d’extensions de cils, j’ai reçue des formations en morphologie du visage et en analyse des couleurs. De plus, chez Elora, nous recevons des formations sur les silhouettes afin de mieux conseiller les femmes dans leurs choix. Ce que je préfère de mon travail, avoir constamment la chance de rencontrer des femmes merveilleuses. J’en retire que des expériences positives.
Tamara Wiens – Ottawa
Tamara Wiens spent 11 years in the Canadian Forces, and 17 years as an IT project manager. Out of work, and getting close to 50, she decided to start working for herself! Her primary business is GelMoment, a manicure product that creates salon quality gel nails, cured with an LED lamp, at home. This new Canadian company, based in Montreal, started business in January 2015 – Tamara is excited about being on the ground floor with this amazing product and organization! She is also a consultant with Passion Parties, and is studying to become a real estate salesperson.

Tracy Wilson – Ottawa
Tracy Wilson is all about PASSION! She is an empty-nester mother to two grown daughters, and an energetic and passionate sales, recruitment and staffing/consulting professional. Certified in Ayurveda by the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, she is also a member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA), the Canadian Ayurveda Members Alliance (CAMA) and the Quebec Naturotherapist Association (ANQ).
