Warriors of the Light is a training camp which strives to bring the essential components of mind-body-soul balance and health to every person. It is WOTL’s belief that every one has the inherent warrior-like aspects of strength and honor coursing deep within their veins, but that the majority of (us) have lost sight of our inner warriors due to the convenience and speed of our modern-day lifestyles.

For centuries the term “Warrior” has been used only to describe the fiercest of fighters – soldiers who put their lives on the line for safety or perseverance. However given the obvious changes of today and the lack of physical requirements needed for basic survival, what we deem to be a “Warrior” has started to shift in terms of who and what it applies to.

At the age of 9, Ima’s father gave her a Polaroid camera. What
followed was her falling madly in love with the art and science of the photograph. She was fascinated being able to capture moments, gone an instant later, but now kept forever through the magic of the camera lens.
As she got older, she continued to develop her craft, going to graphic arts and multimedia school, while working as a printer for professional photographers.
Today, she uses these skills as a photographer to provide quality imagery for businesses through her own studio, as well as with Lola Ortega, capturing those fleeting moments that truly reflect the inspiration and energy of the enterprise and the people who build them.

We look forward to participating on her team for the walk for Alzheimer’s and attending her Dream Big Dream Girl Luncheon in June.

“We are happy to nominate Amanda as the Ambassador of the month of March as our way of saying thank you for all the work done on the website over the year to help WOW become a great network of women helping women.
