Adrina C. Bardekjian, MFC, PhD – Montreal
Dr. Adrina C. Bardekjian is a social scientist and consulting researcher focused on urban forestry. She works with Tree Canada as Manager of Urban Forestry Programs and Research Development; she is also a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the University of British Columbia. Adrina’s academic research focuses on the social aspects of arboriculture, specifically arborist perspectives towards identity and labor, and women’s participation in urban forestry and arboriculture. Adrina has a number of publications and is one of the editors the book, Urban Forests, Trees and Greenspace: A Political Ecology Perspective. She is the recipient of several awards and remains an active Board member on a number of committees.

In 2014, Amanda set out to create the Little Voice Forget Me Not Project, which helps to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s disease while donating a portion of each book sale to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
