Do you like to be challenged? BUSTED is an exhibit of contrasts that compliment and compete with common beliefs. Each artist, working in their preferred medium, has a story or a point to get across. Do you get it? Come meet them Tuesday, Oct 20 – there’s lots to chat abut.
And because these gifted and generous people answered the call to participate in an exhibit bent on opening an honest dialogue about breast cancer, we will combine the art opening with a FUNdraiser for RETHINK BREAST CANCER, an organization that supports young women dealing with breast cancer.
10% of the proceeds from all the art sold on the evening of the opening.will go to RETHINK. Steve Ballou, our live artist , will be on hand to share silk screening techniques and will donate the proceeds from the sale of his t-shirts plus there will be a host of other FUNdraising activities, from buy-a-balloon-to-win-a-um-
The response to BUSTED, even in concept, has already been fantastic. I’d like to thank Vika and Carlos Graphics for helping us with the printing, Sam for the graphics and our beloved beer companies for donating ‘booby prizes’ .
