At WOW – World of Women, we believe in the importance of recognizing the women in our network and communities who go above and beyond in embodying our philosophy of women helping women. The Ambassador of the Month is someone who has supported the women in our network through leadership, acts of kindness, mentorship and/or by giving back to our communities. In recognizing these women, we are able to shine the spotlight on our members who are strong and positive role models to us all!

We are very excited to introduce you to WOW’s June Ambassador of the month: Tara Heinbuch

If you look up the word ‘enthusiasm’ in the dictionary, you may very well find a picture of Tara Heinbuch. With her flair for boldly expressing herself, Tara has spent her time with WoW teaching us all about living authentically, and digging deep to overcome any obstacle life has thrown your way.

With her business, Stelllaa Licious Soap,Tara focuses on chemical free, natural ingredients to make every single product in her line of delicious soaps and bath bombs. WOW – Ottawa Referral Program

WOW – Ottawa is pleased to announce a new referral program leading up to our one-year anniversary!

The referral program will allow Ambassadors to refer a friend and be entered in our year-end gala draw! For each referral that signs up to become an Ambassador, your name will be entered to win one of two prepaid $250 visas/gift cards of your choice!

Use the money to support your business or simply to treat yourself!

Be sure that each of your referrals remembers to submit your name in order qualify! New ambassadors will be prompted with purchase to submit their information to our website, including who referred them – that’s you!

Referral Rules:
1. Available to Ottawa Ambassadors only (Members interested in referring someone will need to upgrade their membership to an Ambassador membership to qualify)
2. Referrals must sign-up to become a WOW – Ottawa Ambassador in order to be entered in our draw
3. Contest start date January 27, 2016 – Contest end date April 25, 2016.

“December is a month where many of us think about ways in which we can give back to our communities, especially those that are less fortunate than us. Jennifer was one of these people. She was instrumental in organizing charity work across her networks in order to make Ottawa a better place for those who needed a little magic during the holidays. Jennifer is always going above and beyond to give back and support others; she is thoughtful, caring and always in good spirits. During the month of December, Jennifer sought the support of our WOW ambassadors and members by seeking donations of nonperishable food items for the FAMSAC Food Cupboard; she also helped to collect money/warm clothing for Project Ottawa. Without Jennifer’s lead on these initiatives, we wouldn’t have been able to contribute to such a great cause. WOW – World of Women is a unique social network for women entrepreneurs that encourages partnership and promotes community!

The WOW philosophy is simple: We are a group of women who help, support, encourage and uplift one another! We are a platform that unites women of all backgrounds, ages and businesses in order to promote a collaborative environment that aids in your success and builds upon your network.

WOW is different; it’s a group that truly fosters friendships and lasting relationships. I joined WOW not knowing what to expect but have gained more than I could have ever imagined. WOW – World of Women believes in a positive, collaborative and supportive environment. At WOW, we promote an all-inclusive dynamic in all that we do. We do not compete with each other but rather work to build each other up. With the help of our board of directors in each of our growing chapters, WOW – World of Women has truly evolved into the network we are today! Recently, WOW – Ottawa successfully reached its first 100 members! Our growth continues in the province of Quebec with our success in Montreal and new expansions in both Rive Sud and Rive Nord. We can’t thank our board members enough for their continued efforts with bringing WOW – Un monde de femmes to our members in Quebec!

As we continue to grow, WOW will introduce new ways to engage our membership. As we expand our event platform, we will continue to make every effort to accommodate our members and not overlap with any other events!
