Melissa Jirovec is the owner of the health & wellness business Out of the Rut. She is an RN, Health & Wellness Coach, Speaker, and aspiring author. She is also a full-time caregiver to her husband who is recovering from a traumatic brain injury.

Out of the Rut was started in early 2015. Melissa’s aim is to help people attain wellness and live healthy, happy lives. She is passionate about motivating and inspiring others to develop a positive perspective and make health a priority.



Elizabeth Johnston

Elizabeth Johnston – Montreal
Elizabeth Johnston’s business is providing chocolate for the brain in the form of writing and creativity workshops and private coaching. Her book No Small Potatoes, for which she was awarded a Canada Council Writing Grant, was published in 2008. In 2013, she wrote, directed and produced a video poem, Keepsake, and was script consultant for the film, The Search, which premiered at Cannes. Elizabeth has written for many publications including The Globe and Mail, and contributed to the bestselling The Montreal Book of Everything.
