Here’s Amanda’s story:
When I was 21 years old I was a newlywed to the most wonderful man I could have ever asked for! We met and started dating October 2000, our second month in Grade 9. Will and I have been inseparable ever since. He is my everything and we have completed our family with 3 beautiful girls Jovie, Leighton and Davina and celebrating 10 years married this year and 17 years together!!!
Right after we were married I was at a crossroads in my life and needed to decide what I wanted to do with my career. I decided to go to school to become an esthetician. After I finished school I worked for a few spas here and there but never really found a place where I fit in. I always knew that I wanted to work for myself so when the opportunity to purchase the spa that I had been working at fell into my lap I jumped in with two feet and never looked back! With the sudden passing of my Mum in Jan 2012 I knew that buying the spa in July of 2012 was exactly what I needed to get back on track. I bought it for me and I bought it for mum and she is with me in everything that I do <3
Here I am almost 5 years later with a spa that I am so proud to call my own. Country Moments Spa & Wellness Center is located in the heart of Navan in a stunning 140 year old farmhouse.
We are a full service destination spa! We offer manicures, pedicures, facials, hair removal, body treatments, lash lifting and so much more! Along with our Esthetic services we have wellness practitioners who work with our clients to make them feel their best.
Our Registered Massage Therapist offers regular Deep Tissue Massage as well as Hot Stone Massage, Prenatal Massage and Indian Head Massage. All of which a receipt is provided. We also have an amazing Yoga Therapist who offers Private Yoga Sessions that really tailor to each individual clients needs. We also have a wonderfully talented Tarot Card Reader who is with us once a month and offers a multitude of amazing services!
We are quickly becoming known for our Private Spa Parties where you can come with your group of besties to Country Moments and relax for a few hours and be pampered! Whether it’s a bridal/bachelorette, birthday party or just a girls night out, we can accommodate!
On top of all of that we also have an adorable gift shop “The Barn” that is attached to the spa! We carry lots of local goodies and lots of our own homemade items as well! We are also getting into wedding and event design and planning!
When we opened Country Moments we really wanted it to be a place where people could come and just be themselves. No strings attached and no judgement. We wanted it to be a place that was cozy, familiar and comforting. A place where people would love to come and would stay a while when they did!! I think we have captured that feeling perfectly <3
